Never has it been more important that we all come together to learn, share and collectively manage the current economic situation that has impacted all of us than now. This year’s Convention team has been working hard to bring you relevant, current and thought-provoking education that will help you position your speaking business to take advantage of these unsettling times.

NSA does two things very well: education and community. Here’s a preview of the ways we’re going deliver on those brand promises.

We’ve also replaced the content-heavy concurrent sessions on Monday and Tuesday afternoon with implementation, facilitation, networking and processing time to help you collaborate with other attendees and accomplish goals before you go home.

dynamic General Sessions The general session lineup features more main stage presenters than we’ve ever had at a Convention. I’m excited to announce and introduce our version of the famous TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) conference, which we’ve named the REAL Rally (Real Education and Learning). Modeled after TED, nine diverse speakers will each have 15 to 18 minutes to share a compelling idea or new perspective on the speaking business. You will come away with nine different challenges or ideas to make you look at your speaking business in a whole new light. (For the full story, go to page 16.)
