Break it up into chapters and edit as
needed, but don’t spend a lot of time
critiquing. This is not like a tax return
where you get penalized for amending
a return from a few years ago. You can
make changes later on as you see fit.
“The more CDs,
Not so fast. Led Zeppelin. It is the
quality, not the quantity that makes a
good product. One client has a won-
derful product on self-hypnosis for just
about everything. You want
to sleep better?
He’s got the CD for it. Or, how about
improving your golf game? Yep, he’s
got it. You can lose weight, build muscles, increase your wealth and have better sex. The point is that he has one CD
with about 30 minutes of quality information on how to do anything.
This doesn’t work for everyone. Be
specific and informative when doing
audio. Go back to your plan and
remind yourself who your target audience is. Sales training tools require
extensive step-by-step methodology.
Put on a mini-seminar and record it.
When you are in front of people, you
can come up with very creative and
applicable statements based on audience
interaction. Once it is recorded, you
can get it transcribed into a workbook.
The audio will need very little editing.
Add some graphics and you are all set.
Last, by not least: Copyright and trademark your work to protect it.
“Build it, and
they will come.”
Seek assistance with product creation,
graphic design, content editing, logo
design, product fulfillment and shopping carts. These components are easy
to digest, but too often ignored. They
should be included in your business plan.
People are hungry to learn and
improve their lives. Parents want to
be better, businesses want to be stronger, and people want to be free. You are
their source for change and equanimity.
Do not be afraid to venture into areas
of uncertainty. Allow your inner self
to take shape and let your dreams run
wild. Who knows? You might be the
next Magellan or Amelia Earhart.
