Stacy Tetschner and the entire NSA staff recognize Beverly Babb, CAE,
who left her post as Chief Operating Officer on May 31 to pursue
other business opportunities. In her illustrious 20-year career at NSA,
Beverly made membership more valuable and helped expand the
speaking profession globally. Her leadership, contributions, talents and
enthusiasm will be missed by staff and members alike.

Voices of Experience and Speaker Win Awards VOE has been honored with a gold award in the category of “Media Innovations: Podcasts” in Association Media & Publishing’s Annual EXCEL Awards competition, due to the news savvy and creativity of Brian Walter, CSP, 2011-12 VOE chair. For the fourth consecutive year, Speaker magazine also has been honored, winning a silver award for the “Best Single-Topic Issue” for the April 2011 edition, which focused on the human brain.

Art Berg Grant Recipient The Art Berg Fund provides grants to 501(c) 3 groups in which an NSA member actively volunteers in a tech-nology-related project that enhances communication to benefit clients of the non-profit organization.
