TIME IS YOUR MOST
Stress is a fact of life. It’s up to you to choose how you
participate in it. Your happiness, health, and productivity depend on your ability to manage stress. Time and
attention are your most precious resources, so use these
strategies to choose mindfully:
Create healthy boundaries. Honor your sleep
needs, schedule your exercise, block time for phone
calls, emails, and voicemails. Communicate your needs
to your family, friends, and team.
Prioritize your time. Connect with family and
friends, engage in favorite hobbies, and enjoy quiet
Just say “no.” Be selective about the activities and
causes most important to you. Dedicate your time when
it’s healthy to do so and politely say no when it isn’t.
Practice deep breathing. Breathing is free,
portable, and accessible any time and place, yet is rarely
utilized to its full capacity.
These strategies are just words unless you choose to
take action. Being proactive with self-care—eating well,
moving, sleeping, and managing stress—will contribute
to your effectiveness on the platform and in your life.
Listen intently to your body’s whispers, focus on what’s
most important and take one step forward every day. ■
